Mandatory Trainings

Welcome Day

An exciting full-day of induction training for all new starters. This training runs every 6 weeks and gives new team members an introduction to our company, covering everything from purpose and values through to health and safety.

E-Learning

Here at The Landmark London, our two e-learning providers are Praxis42 and KnowBe4.

As a new starter, you will be expected to complete a number of interactive modules on Praxis42, based on your role and department area. These are designed to be informative and interactive and will be sent directly to your email address on your first day.

Cyber Awareness

With a growing number of cyber attacks happening around the world, this new training session equips you with some valuable tips and tricks to protecting your personal and professional identity.

Company Behaviour

This training gives you an insightful overview of the behaviours we expect you to portray as team members of The Landmark London.

Courageous Conversations

This training aims to give team members a confidence boost to be able to solve difficult situations with their fellow team members or managers, without it having to be escalated. Be prepared to learn some useful tips that focus on ‘nipping issues in the bud’ and why this is important.

Communication through Engagement

This training aims to make you consider and reflect on the different ways in which we engage with our guests and each other, both as team members and also as a hotel. From the way in which we greet guests, to the body language we use, this thought-provoking training covers it all!

Landmark History

We are proud of our history here at the Landmark and we believe that you should be too. Our hotel is steeped in rich traditions and exciting links with the railways (and so much more!). This training gives you a fascinating insight into some of our history, to better equip you to engage with our guests and feel connected to our heritage.

What’s in a Name?

The most important thing to a person is their name. More so than some may realise! This training teaches you about the importance of using each other and our guests’ names, as well as some useful tips about how to remember lots of names!
