The Landmark London Hotel occupies a rare position in the history of London hotels. Originally opened in 1899 as The Great Central Hotel, this beautiful Victorian building has served as a convalescent home during the Second World War as well as the headquarters of the British Railways Board. It later returned to its original use and opened as the beloved Landmark London hotel in 1995.
