Andrew Batchelor joins The Landmark London team as Sally Beck becomes Hotel Manager of The Lancaster London
November 2012: Five star luxury hotel The Landmark London looks forward to welcoming a new Hotel Manager this month with the appointment of Andrew Batchelor, who moves from his position as Hotel Manager at sister hotel, the Lancaster London.
With an esteemed career in the hospitality industry, Andrew Batchelor joined the Lancaster London as Food & Beverage Manager in 1989, becoming Director of Events just five years later, and Hotel Manager in 2003. At The Landmark London, he plans to bring his expertise to continue The Landmark London’s success as one of the Capital’s finest luxury hotels, and enhance the Food and Beverage offering even further, continuing to establish the Winter Garden, twotwentytwo, Mirror Bar and the Gazebo as destinations in themselves for Londoners and visitors alike.

After 12 years implementing her strategic approach at The Landmark London as Director of Marketing, Sally Beck leaves to take her new role as Hotel Manager of The Lancaster London in January 2013. During her time at The Landmark London, Sally Beck has led her team in establishing the luxury hotel as a key competitor amongst London’s finest five star hotels. She has also pioneered The Landmark London’s CSR campaign, championing the hotel’s initiatives to become more ‘green’ and partnering with local organisations to support Marylebone community projects. She also spearheaded The Landmark London’s efforts to achieve the Investors in People (IIP) Gold Award this year, with the hotel exceeding expectations to become an IIP Champion in the process.
Sally Beck says ‘I have enjoyed a wonderful 12 years at The Landmark London and am looking forward to facing new challenges and taking my experience to sister hotel the Lancaster London to build on the wonderful foundations that Andrew has laid.’
