General Manager Francis Green announces his retirement

May 2013 - Francis Green, General Manager of five star hotel The Landmark London has announced his retirement after 18 years at the helm of the luxury hotel.

A valued member of The Landmark Group for 20 years and with a career in the hospitality industry that has spanned over 45 years, Francis Green was integral to The Landmark London’s opening in 1995. Since then, Mr Green has ensured that the hotel has achieved exceptional service levels and a superb offering to its guests, won international recognition and awards (including the recent attainment of the Investors in People Gold Award and Championship Status), and nurtured a dedicated staff. 

Recognised throughout the hospitality industry, Mr Green is also a Master Innholder and a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, as well as an Honorary Professor and West London University, home of the award-winning London School of Hospitality and Tourism.

Francis Green comments:

‘I have thoroughly enjoyed the time I have spent at The Landmark London and feel privileged to have seen the hotel go from strength to strength, working alongside its outstanding team whom I wish well for the future, and look forward to watching their continued success.’
