Blazing a trail from Cambridge to the capital, Mark Poynton is set to ignite London’s food scene. For three weeks only, the Chef Patron of the newly Michelin-starred Alimentum in Cambridge will be whipping up a gourmet storm at the five-star Landmark London’s Winter Garden restaurant. Every Tuesday to Saturday evening from 20th November until 8th December, Mark will be showcasing the unique, cutting-edge gastronomy that earned him his first Michelin star in the 2013 guide and three AA Rosettes in 2008.
A Night at the Opera 2012
Following the success of last year’s Opera Gala Dinner, elegant five-star hotel The Landmark London is to stage another operatic event, this time in partnership with charitable organisation Streetwise Opera - which aims to provide homeless people with a voice - on Friday 5th October 2012. Westminster Volunteer Awards Ceremony
Volunteer Centre Westminster, in partnership with The Landmark London, will be presenting the VCW Westminster Volunteering Awards, in the Empire Room at The Landmark Hotel in Marylebone, on Wednesday 13th June between 7.30 and 9.00pm. The aims of the VCW Westminster Volunteer Awards Scheme are i) to recognise the outstanding work of volunteers in our community and ii) to recognize organisations that demonstrate good practice in how they recruit, induct, manage and develop their volunteers.

This festive season, The Landmark London continues its support of the Church Street Ward in Marylebone with its gift donation initiative, the Tree of Wishes. Launching on Monday 5th December beneath the hotel’s soaring glass atrium, this special Christmas tree will have 100 ‘wishes’ tied to its boughs - each a gift to one of the charities within the Ward and ranging in price from £10 up to £1,000. Those who would like to give one of these gifts from the Tree of Wishes choose from the list – all are numbered on a scroll that will be next to the tree – and visit the Front Desk to make their donation. Although the Tree of Wishes will be up from 5th December, the list of 100 wishes is available now.
