The main feature of the hotel is the stunning 8-storey glass atrium, finished with a mixture of Eastern flair and modern British features.

All candidates must be able to demonstrate that you are either an UK / EU resident, or hold a relevant and valid work permit or visa to live and work in the UK.

CHEFS OPPORTUNITIES

CHEF DE PARTIE

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen team.

We are now seeking to recruit enthusiastics Chef de Partie who have the talent to deliver a 5* service at all times, having a positive and “can do” attitude. It is essential to have excellent communication skills, team work attitude and great attention to detail.

The responsibilities of a Chef de Partie are:

  • take ownership of your section’s mise-en-place in terms of quantity and quality
  • deputise in the absence of the Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef
  • ensure that food is cooked and presented as outlined in the outlet specification manual and as per the standards recommended by Leading Hotels of the World.
  • take ownership for presenting new ideas for menus, presentations and working practices to your section’s Sous Chef
  • monitor portion control, fresh food and dry store orders to ensure that wastage is kept to a minimum

The ideal candidate for the Chef de Partie is required the following:

  • Great cooking skills
  • An ability to stay calm and work as part of a team during a busy service
  • Organisational aptitude
  • at least NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Previous experience on a 4 or 5* hotel

The Chef de Partie will work with a dedicated and passionate Kitchen team and will report directly to the Sous Chef. You will be passionate about your work and have the desire to progress your career in a leading five star hotel.
