Director of Conference & Banqueting

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Conference & Banqueting to lead our Banqueting Office and Operations team.

We are looking for a committed Director with strong leadership skills who has worked in a similar role, ideally coming from a hotel background. You will have previous experience working in a high volume banqueting operation and organise functions achieving and exceeding standards as well as guest expectations of product and service.

You will have the capability and required knowledge to ensure the smooth running of the Banqueting Department and to ensure financial goals are met through excellent customer service, a motivated and organised team and to ensure the product maintains a leading edge from our competitors.

You ensure standards are met within the team both in the organisation of events and the operational running of the floor. Through recruitment, communication and development build a team which is customer focused and proactive in new initiatives.

You are a driven person and passionate about Banqueting and Hospitality and excited about joining us on our journey.

You will have the management skills to delegate and communicate effectively and will have strong attention to detail as well as the ability to work well under pressure. You will be reporting directly to the Hotel Manager.
